1Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Venneo Ltd website at www.venneo.co.uk (the “Website”) and the equipment assessment, recommendation, and related services provided by Venneo Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Venneo Ltd”).

1.2 By accessing our Website, submitting an enquiry, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our Website or services.

1.3 These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

2Definitions

2.1 “Client” means the individual for whom an equipment assessment or recommendation is provided.

2.2 “Services” means the equipment assessment, recommendation, supply, and related services provided by Venneo Ltd.

2.3 “Equipment” means any item of independent living or assistive equipment supplied, recommended, or trialled by Venneo Ltd.

2.4 “Referrer” means any healthcare professional, family member, or other third party who refers a Client to Venneo Ltd.

3Our services

3.1 Venneo Ltd provides independent living equipment assessments, recommendations, and supply services.

3.2 Assessments may include a review of the Client’s health condition, functional needs, and desired outcomes, as disclosed by the Client, their representative, or a Referrer.

3.3 Following an assessment, we will provide a written report setting out our observations and equipment recommendations.

4Not medical advice

4.1 Our assessments and recommendations relate to the suitability of equipment and do not constitute medical, clinical, or therapeutic advice.

4.2 Our recommendations should be considered alongside, and not instead of, advice from a GP, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or other qualified healthcare professional.

5Quotes and pricing

5.1 Any quotation provided by Venneo Ltd is valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.

5.2 Prices are subject to change to reflect supplier costs. We will notify you of any price change before proceeding with an order.

5.3 All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated on the relevant quotation.

6Equipment trials

6.1 Where equipment is provided on a trial basis, it remains the property of Venneo Ltd or the relevant supplier until purchased.

6.2 The Client agrees to take reasonable care of any trial equipment and to promptly report any faults or concerns to Venneo Ltd.

6.3 Trial equipment must be returned in the condition provided, reasonable wear and tear excepted, if a purchase does not proceed.

7Orders and payment

7.1 An order is confirmed once a quotation has been accepted verbally or in writing, including by email.

7.2 A 50% deposit is required at the point of acceptance of order. The balance is to be paid once the products have been delivered.

7.3 Payment terms will be set out on the relevant invoice. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.

7.4 Venneo Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where applicable.

8Delivery and installation

8.1 We will take reasonable care to deliver, and where applicable install, equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidance.

8.2 Delivery timescales provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

9Client responsibilities

9.1 The Client agrees to provide accurate and complete information about their health condition, needs, and circumstances to enable a proper assessment.

9.2 The Client agrees to use any Equipment provided in accordance with the instructions and guidance given by Venneo Ltd or the manufacturer.

10Cancellations and returns

10.1 The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 may give the Client a right to cancel within 14 days for distance or off-premises contracts.

10.2 Equipment that has been customised or made to the Client’s individual specification may not be eligible for cancellation once ordered, as stated in the quotation.

11Warranties and statutory rights

11.1 Equipment supplied is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, details of which will be provided at the point of sale.

11.2 Nothing in these Terms affects the Client’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

12Limitation of liability

12.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Venneo Ltd’s liability for any loss or damage arising from the Services is limited to the value of the Services or Equipment provided.

12.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Venneo Ltd’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

12.3 Venneo Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the Services.

13Intellectual property

13.1 All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, and reports, is owned by or licensed to Venneo Ltd and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

14Data protection

14.1 Venneo Ltd processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at www.venneo.co.uk.

15Complaints

15.1 If you are unhappy with our Services, please contact us using the details in section 18 so that we can address your concerns.

16Termination

16.1 Venneo Ltd may suspend or terminate the Services if these Terms are breached, or if continuing to provide the Services is no longer appropriate or safe.

17Governing law

17.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
