VS40
An alternating foam-filled air cell cushion system for preventing and treating pressure ulcers in people up to very high risk. It works three ways: as a foam cushion with no pump at all, on a gel-infused memory foam topper; as a full alternating air system with the pump connected; and as a self-adjusting balanced-air cushion when inflated and sealed with the transport cap. Changing between them does not mean getting the user out of the chair. With the pump running, an air sensor and microcomputer regulator hold the interface pressure low, and the pump is near silent.
