A lateral turning replacement alternating pressure mattress system for people at very high risk of pressure damage, built from cell-on-cell air cells over a static base section. The pump turns the person laterally through adjustable angles, so repositioning does not have to be done by hand each time. An air sensor and microcomputer regulator hold the interface pressure low, and the pump runs near silently.
