A bariatric replacement alternating pressure mattress system for people at very high risk of pressure damage, built from cell-on-cell air cells over a static base section. An air sensor and microcomputer regulator sense the pressure continuously and hold the interface pressure low, and the pump runs near silently, so sleep and circulation are left undisturbed.
